EAST HOSPITAL STREET
This corridor leads to many of the hospital's wards, the Chapel, general administrative offices and executive offices. Consequently, through the course of a week it is estimated that in the region of over 3,000 people pass through this space. Both sides are hung with artwork which is permanent and also for sale. Below are examples of both :
'The Chatham Scandal' by Cyril Harrison pastels and charcoal on paper 24" x 36" 1998 (right hand picture shows detail) This picture was especially commissioned by the Healing Arts steering group and is on permanent display in the East Hospital Street.
